A Step-by-Step Guide to Training Your Model
The first step in creating your AI headshots is to train a personalized model. This model learns your facial features from the photos you provide, ensuring the generated headshots are a true-to-life representation of you.
Step 1 – Set Attributes and Name Your Model
Before you begin uploading, you'll have the opportunity to guide the AI by setting some initial parameters to ensure the results align with your vision.
Model Name: Give your model a unique and memorable name. This is especially helpful if you plan on creating multiple models with different styles, as it allows you to easily identify and access them later in your Model Repository.
Attributes: Choose your style preferences, and specify details like your desired facial hair and makeup level. This helps to personalize the output and align it with your professional or personal brand.
Initial Selfie: To give the AI a clear reference point, you'll start by uploading a single, clear selfie. This initial photo helps the model accurately capture your likeness from the very beginning and is automatically included in your training set.
Note: This is not the only photo you will upload. The main upload step, where you provide the full set of 8-16 training images, comes after you select your package.
Step 2 – Choose Your Photo Pack
PicStudio.ai offers several photo packs to suit your needs, each providing a different quantity of generated images. You can start with a smaller package and purchase additional PhotoPacks later if you need more variety.
Step 3 – Upload Your Full Training Photo Set
This is the most critical step for ensuring high-quality results. You will now upload your complete set of 8 to 16 high-quality photos.
Here are some key guidelines to follow when selecting your photos:
Variety is Key: Use a diverse set of photos with different backgrounds, lighting conditions, and angles. This helps the AI create more dynamic and accurate portraits.
Clear and Well-Lit: Ensure your photos are high-resolution and that your face is evenly lit. Avoid blurry, pixelated, or heavily shadowed images.
Show Your Face: Your face should be clearly visible and facing the camera. Avoid photos with sunglasses, hats, or other obstructions.
Natural Expressions: Stick to relaxed and natural facial expressions. Avoid overly silly faces, winking, or exaggerated poses for the most professional results.
Group Photos are Okay: If you have a good photo that includes other people, you can still use it. The system is designed to automatically crop and focus on your face.
Step 4 – Review and Confirm
Before finalizing the training process, you'll have a chance to review your uploaded photos and chosen settings. Take a moment to ensure everything is correct. Once you confirm, the AI model will begin processing your images.
How Your AI Model Learns from Your Photos
Your personal AI model is your digital twin. By analyzing the 8-16 photos you upload, our technology learns to replicate your facial features, structure, and likeness with high fidelity. It captures nuances that allow it to generate new images of you in any style or setting while ensuring you still look like you.
The training process is a sophisticated AI workflow that typically completes in under 10 minutes. During this time, our systems build a unique model based on your images. You can monitor the status on your dashboard, which will show "creating", "ready", or "failed".
